Scrub him off with some water then post some pictures . Coloration still looks interesting.
I find it interesting how shell fungus can take hold on young tortoises so quickly. I've found torts only a couple of days old in the pens before, covered in shell fungus. Perhaps the softer shell of a newborn is more succeptible?
