I plant my redfoot's enclosure with pothos and it both grows well and he likes to nibble it.

Pothos is great.
It's hard to kill even on purpose!
It'll grow in bright light....No light....Dry....Or totally submerged in water.
It's not technically edible, but my tortoises do eat it. So do my koi.
No issues, ever.
It also grows super fast. So the recovery time from being eaten is fast.
