Has anyone tried the CALPALMY UVA/UVB lights? I got them on Amazon. It says they’re for reptiles. I was wondering if they’re ok?

The only uv(B) reptile rated bulb I would recommend for tortoises is in the shape of a florescent long-tubed bulb. The T5 lighting fixtures are the current most effective type on the market. I would not recommended buying any other shaped bulb that claims to produce uv(B). At least not until the item in question has been thoroughly tested and analyzed by someone that knows what they're doing and what to look for in order to see if they're safe enough for tortoise use.

50 watts? And that little clamp? I wouldn't use that. I'd be curious to put a UV meter under it.
