We recently got our first leopard tortoise and everything has been great I did my homework, am feeding the proper foods and diet. The only problem is, he doesn't seem to want to eat anything but Mazuri and clovers. I have offered all of these foods on many occasions over the past month. Kale, collard greens, mustard greens, radish greens, garden weeds, romaine, dandelion greens, rose pedals etc etc etc. I even tried hostas. Many different species. I did today get him to eat half a grape. (As a treat of course) . My conclusion.... he is a stubborn *** haha. But he is our stubborn *** and we love him :)

Any tips or pointers would be greatly appreciated! Thanks everyone!!

Wet the mazuri, chop up whatever greens you have, mix together. The mazuri will adhere to the greens, and it will be difficult to just eat that. I usually mix about 50/50.

The trick that seems to work is chopping the good things very finely and mixing it with the foods that they will eat.

I do wet the Mazuri but I never thought of mixing it all together. Thanks everyone!
