Kinixys of Madagascar

These photos were taken by a friend of mine(Fabio) in a natural park in Antananarivo.
I think they are Madakinixys domerguei, even if wild populations are limited in an area of ​​100km square, near the island of Nosy Faly.

LOL! I was thinking that I had never heard of that, but found that most sources list it as a subspecies of Bell's Hinge-back (Kinyxys belliana domerguie

It is fun to enter unusual place names (to me) into Google Earth and 'looking around'. The place name takes you to the middle of a town, which is always interesting looking at how cities differ and look alike at the same time!
