So he has adapted very well to his new enclosure. Today i weighted him and from 270 g he was weghting 2 weeks ago.. 2 months ago i measured him and he was 8' long and 5.6' wide.
He is now at 325 g 10' long and 8.3' wide he has been hiding a lot! And only comes out once a day drinks water and eats and then goes back in his hiding spot. I guess this is part of brumation. Right? They grow up while in brumation.?
Tomorrow i will post pictures of him and the enclosure.

This an indoor enclosure. Its 4.3 ft long and 2.6 ft wide. He have a side where he can go and hide if he wants to as its covered by a door on top of the enclosure.
One question what do you guys use to deworm your torts?

I don't use a de wormer unless I know that I have a serious case of parasites.
Then a vet would determine what type of parasite to know for sure the best medication and what dosage to administer.
In over 35 years of keeping tortoises, I've only had to use a de wormer once over a period of two weeks.
It was roundworm and I used Panacur.
Every tortoise that has "worms" doesn't need treatment.
Only weakened ones with a heavy load of parasites.

Mine had a runny nose so I took in a stool sample..he was infested with pinworms so 3 weeks of treatment in October (he weighed 1 pound) and turned 2 on 1-1-20. Then he was treated for protozoa another parasite 11-12-19. I just weighed him this morning after his soak, he gained half a pound! He is going through a growth spurt now.
