So @EllieMay request a few updated pics of the gang. Except for Blue as he was the only one not out and about when I nipped home during my lunch time.

Boy or Girl? A visitor or a resident? Parent of any of yours?
She is a girl, and has become a resident. I am not sure if she is a parent of any of mine, as the babies were a surprise and at the time I had two females and one male. I moved the one female to a different location due to the male being very aggresive with her and turning her over all the time. I have also separated Whity and the juveniles into their own enclosure so that the male cannot harass them. Rue is 3 years old and is a male. The other two I have not seen them show anything yet but they are also only about 2years old. So maybe a little young still to show what their gender is yet. Once I see Rue trying to mount any of the others I will have to make a plan and build him his own enclosure as well, so that they will be separated. As I do not want any more surprise babies hatching. I don't have the space for them. ?

Even if they're "farmed" as in captive born? So cool carrying on with you way over there.
Yes even if they are captive bred. Besides I love these tortoises so much it would be very difficult for me to part with them. I would also find it very difficult to trust that whomever I shipped them to, would look after them like they should be looked after. Besides from what I have read, Angulata tortoises taken out of their native range do not do very well over seas. They find it extremely difficult to adapt to the different environments, and more often than not they end up dying. And I just cannot or would not be able to condemn one like that. ? The risk is too high.

There are those over here that want to preserve and care for them well. Also I believe that with little ones not taken from the wild but used to captive conditions would be much better adapted to captive culture. It seems to be the common belief about captive born versus wild caught is often the difference of night and day suvival wise. I'm working with Hingebacks and they have much the same kind of reputation but many here are getting a handle on habitats and care needed and are uniting to keep them in good health and produce offspring for the future.

Lovely to see and follow. Amazing your finding hatchlings on your land! I think your trio will increase at this rate! Nice shell growth and the soaks will be beneficial.

Hi Everyone and a very Merry Christmas. Some new photos for you to enjoy. Rue was hopefully only practicing, but it looks like it is time to separate him. Sorry it is pic heavy again. But I can never decide which pictures are the best ones to upload. ??

Mmmm, maybe those ones are not the best either. I will have to see if I can get nicer ones to upload again.
