Hi All
Time for an update.

The younglings are now beginning to spend most of the day outside in the nice hate that we are getting here in Cape Town. And they come in at night again.

Their new weights are 01/10/2019:

Rue - 284g - 2 years 5 months.
Clark - 190g - 1 year 6 months
Harry - 220g - 1 year 5 months

Harry has overtaken Clark on the weight side and seems to be following in Kang's foot steps in that he is growing with a flatter look rather than with a dome look like his parents. Rue and Clark however still have the round dome look.

Here are some pics for you.

For Angulate's yes. But compared to Sulcata's, they take only a couple of weeks and they overtake my babies. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
Haha I can relate with my Redfoots!

Nope, Not as yet, but they are actually too young. I think that Kang was extremely advanced for his age. And these three don't seem to be in any hurry. Harry because he is growing like Kang did, I am leaning towards him being male. Rue although I have always referred to her as being female, I think she might end up being male as it looks like there is a slight curve appearing in her plastron. (however I could be wrong about this) and Clark I think will be female. But until they show me otherwise, I am still in the dark.

It’s always scary when they first do it. Can I ask you what does he do when he gets it out? Any particular movements or behaviours?
Well when I took the pic, I had noticed that he was standing up very high on his legs and was rocking back and forth. After a while it went back in, which I was very happy about as Kang had the problem of it not going back in. I was a bit stressed out about it until I saw that everything was working fine. He has been a little more bold and confident, so I think he is going to have to go outside permanently soon as I think he is going to give the other two a hard time. At least outside they have a lot more space to get some distance between each other.
