Again, it is not impossible to keep them, just unwise and expensive. The equipment alone being used in these pictures runs for $10,000+. This also appears to be some kind of research institution which may in fact be in Africa, based off of all the pictures of them in the wild and the thermoregulation study. If you live in their natural range, then they may be easier to keep alive. If you don't, then all that you are doing by collecting them is placing unneeded stress on their population. We don't know very much about this species, so this could cause a massive collapse in the local population. There are better species for you. You can't choose a species of tortoise based on how it looks without taking into account the fact that this species is is threatened by habitat loss and we know next to zero about it. This same kind of collecting mentality was used during the Victorian Era by Walter Rothschild leading to the death of of hundreds of Galapagos tortoises. Choose the more easily accessible, known about species. Pancakes are a lovely, easy to care for tortoise that are simply the better choice.
