I liked @Bambam1989 's post about updating their sulcata tort's progress, so I thought I would follow suit for my greek tort:

Hatched August 15, 2017

Received October 24, 2017 - 26 grams
November 28, 2017 - 26 grams
December 26, 2017 - 28.47 grams (bought a more accurate scale)
January 30, 2018 - 30.64 grams

Spike seems to be experiencing a growth spurt!

Those "squiggly lines" appear on a lot of torts. Some more so than others. No one seems to be able to tell what causes them but they are totally harmless.
There are quite a few fungal organisms that are keratin-specific, they feed on keratin, what tortoise shells, antlers, hooves etc as well as human hair, nails and skin are made of. I can't imagine simple hard water or anything non-living creating perfect circles and figure-8's as seen above. Curious about this.

We did a revamp of his enclosure this morning! Included are cold and warm hides, two basking areas, a larger food slate, and a small rock garden area. Plus some hilly areas for him to explore.

Here is the little guy thriving at 64.73 grams (post-poop)!
