OMG, how big is it? I'd be out of there. Just had a giant spider in the car I was driving earlier. It went where we couldn't get it. Good thing it didn't come back out I would have crashed the car.
It wasnt even the size of a dime but still giant too me.
Yikes, yours would give me nightmares

Looks like a female Baboon spider and her nest.

Thank you @CarolM !

I could be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure that is a huntsman spider. Big long legs give it away.

Try to touch it and tell us what happens! :p

Whahaha. I had a small one in my car. BUT it was just above the sun visor and was making it way above my head. I had visions of this thing dropping down on my head while I was driving. And I was panicking because I did not want to touch the spider. But eventually I squashed it. It was probably very scared as well. But definitely not as scared as I was.

@CarolM, I REALLY don't think you should do this! I know...we all love Tom...but he likes big spiders! I would not trust his judgment relating to arachnids or roaches. Nope, not me. [emoji57]

Aren't you the funny one. You can come on over and touch it if you like. I thought it was a rain spider. But it does look very much like a baboon spider as shown in Sabines picture. I will have to check again. You don't see it during the day, only at night. Hmm some research is needed me thinks.

And you are partly right. Wikipedia says it is a species of the huntsman spider. Still not touching it though.
