What a lovely tortoise...and very talented magician...

He ended up chomping down 6 0f those big leaves ! In addition to his 28 Mazuri pellets smothered with soaked hay ! It seemed like he quit eating them when they started to dry out a little . Don't know if he doesn't like crispy leaves , or if he was just being fussy because he had a full belly ?

He is outside all day in a 10 Ft. by 15 Ft. enclosure. I have a night box almost completed (waiting for my Kane heat mats) . So he comes inside to sleep at night. I am glad I didn't just move him out and say "its warm enough" because it was only 74 degrees when I got up at 7:00 am , and has dropped to 71 since then !

Hi yes I have Barry box at 90+ in day
Then 75 to 80 in evening plus he can come out of is night box into shed then out the dog flap into paddock
He as 2 x 150 w. Ceramics on in day then at night he as 1 x 150

It's been 115 here in Vegas

June and July we saw a lot of "triple digit days" we are into our monsoon season now. It has rained most every day this week, and they are predicting it through next Tuesday ! Bummer ! Apollo is looking good !

Barry doesn't mind the rain
I love the heat but we don't get much I live in Wales in uk
Loads off grass and even more weeds I have to cut the grass weekly in the summer period
