The ITs get their first pumpkin...and it's a hit...sorta!

IT-1 just loves this stuff...went after it immediately!


IT-2 wanted to sleep on it...and then went nuts...walked away then turned and buried his head in it!


IT-3 walked around it, looked at it, crawled over it, looked at it some more...then finally took a nip...then a nap!

I take the shell, guts and seeds and process it in my KitchenAid! I only used canned if they don't take to raw. Even then, it's a small amount mixed with the real thing just to get them used to it! And when you hear pumpkin referred to as a natural dewormer...it's the anthelmintic cucurbitacin in the the seed kernel that does this...and it works for mammals, as well!

Wow! Thanks for this! So, I'm thinking you get ORGANIC pumpkin, right? Not from the grocery store or regular pumpkin patch? Where do you get yours from?

Well...I missed it! The whole William Wallace fiasco made me forget that the ITs turned 5 months yesterday!

IT-1: 3.19" 124 grams


IT-2: 2.32" 50 grams


IT-3 2.62" 92 grams

I had some dry patches to repair in the front lawn today...so the ITs got a taste (literally) of an area they hadn't been in since their first month!

IT-1 (right) and IT-3 explore together...and this they do a lot!


IT-2 is off doing his own thing...as usual!
