So, forever ago I made a post about the identification of a succulent, I didn't get any replies but thankfully I found out myself.

It's apparently called a 'sedum nussbaumerianum' or coppertone sedum, although I can't find anything about whether or not they can be fed to tortoises.

Anyone know anything?

This one is pretty close..to yours aka stonecrop.

  • Common Name: Sedum (Stonecrop)
  • Latin Name: Sedum spp.
  • Family Name: Crassulaceae
Most sedums are fine for your tortoise, although as with all succulent plants an excess can cause diarrhoea, so try not to let your tortoises eat large quantities.

Yours:

Sedum nussbaumerianum is a species of plant native to Mexico. Today it can also be found in Italy and on the Canary islands. Also called stonecrop, or Coppertone Sedum, it is a member of the Crassulaceae family (krass-yoo-LAY-see-ee) and the subfamily Sedoideae. (Tribe: Sedeae, Genus: Sedum) Sedum is produced SEE-dum.

Video shows a list of "tortoise safe" plants, including stonecrop for Radiata. Pretty interesting
