Is this plant edible - Inquiry

Not exactly sure the type of plant this is. It's outside the parameters of my yard where the Sulcata herd lives.

Curious as to whether or not it is edible as my Russian tortoise used to eat them back in the day and never seemed sick from it. She was rehomed to a friend of mine a while back but used to live in a pen within my yard, completely healthy.

These bushes are aesthetically pleasing, and if they are safe to be consumed, I would love to move them into the Sulcata portion of my yard.

You're talking about the grass? We would have to see a seed stem to know what kind of grass it is, but most grasses are ok to plant in the sulcata yard.

Yes, I was referring to the tall grass-like plant. I'll try to get a seed stem picture (not sure how yet, but I'll figure it out). If it turns out to be an edible grass, I'll move them in!
