When I purchased him/her I was provided a tortoise table along with a load of bad advice.
I quickly found out all the information was wrong.
I contacted the breeder and asked him how he raised his hatchlings.
He said in an open top table with D3 lighting “he seemed to think D3 bulbs are the holy grail”
I told him this was wrong etc, he came back with “ They are uk reared so they don’t need humidity”
This was very annoying that a breeder could be so irresponsible.
Anyway since ive kept him in a closed chamber environment, misting him and his terrain throughout the day trying to keep the humidity above 75%
Basking spot 37 degrees
Night temp 27 degrees
My other question is if I keep him in humidity. Correct diet etc will this be noticeable as he gets older.
He is nearly one now and pretty small.
I am just about to weigh him again now so I will update his weight in a minute.
