Hello,

I'm a newbie to all this so I was wondering if anyone could help me please....I've taken over the care of this tortoise as the owner was moving into a flat with no garden so I offered to give her a new home. She is lovely but I have no idea what species tortoise she is ? and from reading up on this forum I think she maybe a he as concaved underneath and the tail is sort of tucked into the left side. The previous owner told me she is about 7 and just assumed it was a girl. If anyone could shed any light on sex or species I would be very grateful. I've attached some pics so hope this helps.
Thanks Claire. ImageUploadedByTortForum1394662774.130985.jpgImageUploadedByTortForum1394662786.821828.jpgImageUploadedByTortForum1394662797.320090.jpgImageUploadedByTortForum1394662814.088482.jpg

It's a male and it seems sort of small for 7 years. I may be wrong.

Looks like Ibera cross, he looks a little small but he may just be growing slowly. I have some males going on six years approx. that size.

He is defiantly a male. Check that beautiful tail out. And male does remain small...
