So I bought a potted tropical hibiscus about 6 months ago so that I may eventually feed my greek some exotic treats :) The people at the store told me that the plant was imported from China, and since Norway is pretty much on the other side of the world I guessed that the plant was probably sprayed with pesticides quite heavily.

As soon as I bought the plant I took it out of the pot, washed the roots, re-potted into organic soil and so began the waiting game. 6 months have passed now and the plant is still flowering and going strong.

I have read different opinions about how long one should wait before store bought plants are safe. Should I wait another 6 months or can I start feeding the flowers/leaves now?
