My wife and I have a raise our 5 year old Sulcata from about 5 months old. We currently live in Texas and Feed it Mazuri Tortoise Diet. It seems as though she is not very interested in it. What other staple food choices can you all suggest?

Unfortunately, I am not one of them.

I usually only feed mazuri 2-3 times per week. Lots of grasses and weeds from the yard, some good store bought greens are endive, chicory, kale, arugula, collard greens, mustard greens and dandelion greens to name a few... hope this helps. And welcome to TFO!

Actually, your sulcata needs his main diet to be fresh weeds and grasses, with a few dark leafy greens tossed in. The Mazuri is a supplement, not a staple.

Welcome to the forum, for my extensive research of Sulcata Tortoise although I don't own one, I would say grass and weeds especially some collard greens. You can also plant some prickly pear in your yard and some Hibiscus.
