I got these books from the library the other day:

Turtles, Tortoises, & Terrapins: Survivors in Armor by Ronald Orenstein
http://books.google.com/books/about/Turtles_tortoises_and_terrapins.html?id=hicWAQAAIAAJ

I love this book. The photographs taken were so beautiful! Although this isn't a care book, it describes turtles and tortoises all over the world. It's a big hardcover book. I will take some pictures of the photographs :p

This book doesn't have caresheets but it describes each animal's abundance/range, habitat, size, identifying features, pictures, and similar species.

Wow...that Meiolaniidae is too cool!

Seems the half-ton torts may have finally been finished off, according to NewScientist, by the hunting by early arrivals to certain South Pacific islands, including the nation of Vanuatu...lotta meat on one, it can be presumed.
