I doubt it's toxic to tortoises, but spices are very seldom used as tortoise food.

Fenugreek is feed by Indian keepers - I've tried it with my elongated and he wouldn't touch it. If this is trustworthy: http://www.vahrehvah.com/indianfood/fenugreek-leaves/ they have a good calcium to phosphorus ratio. The leaves are not spicy like the seeds (the spice), but I don't know how palatable they really are (I personally don't like the taste either).

Guyz please help me y my star tortoise pair don't like to bask in sun.. Wen I leav them in sun they move back to shade and sleeps..

Having the same issue with mine he also hates the sun it seems , he likes methi a lot apparently prefers it over radish,rose,spinach

They bask to warm up. If they are already warm, no need to bask.

Also, babies don't bask much. They prefer to hide from predators. What size is your baby?
