Hello. The weather in my city it's pretty bad right now, parts of the city have already blacked out. Fortunately we still have electricity here but I don't know for how long. We don't own any power generator and I can't go out to buy one now, it's too late, so if the lights go off there is no way to bring them back. Temperatures are low and keep going down, I need a way to keep my tortoise warm and safe in case the power goes off. Any ideas?

Maybe get a little camping propane stove (if you don't have gas stove already) and heat up water, put in bottles and put bottles in tort's box?

Do you have a gas stove? You can heat water on the stove and put a hot water bottle in with the tortoise. Sporting goods stores sell these:

Quite a few folks ship tortoises with the Hot Hands warmers in the packages.
