I'm wanting to adopt a tortoise

I live in North West Tennessee and I'm looking for a tortoise. I would pay for shipping, or would be willing to drive a reasonable distance to get one. I have a good size backyard filled with weeds.

I'm not new to caring for tortoises. I've had the pleasure of sharing my backyard with a desert tortoise when I lived in California.

Please let me know if you have a tortoise that I can care for.

I don't know what the laws are in your state, but I do know that the climate there is great for box turtles.

You're right, box turtles do great here. As a matter of fact, I see wild eastern box turtles often. But I am looking for tortoises to keep. I'd like to keep Russians and sulcatas, but would consider any breed of tortoise. Thanks.
