What luck all three of my reds are ladies . O well I was not planning on breeding them any way . Thanks now I can give them girl names instead of calling them types of grasses.LOL

Look at it this way. Should you want to breed them, you only need to get one more tortoise. Just be sure that one is a male

Ha ha ! That would be ok with me . But I don't what to breed so little ladies are fine with me . Can't wait to see them start laying eggs . Even if there no good .

I don't think they lay eggs unless they are with a male, at least none of mine have.

O yes they will lay . I have a red ear slider that will lay and has never seen a male . The same thing has happened with my snakes and the lizards they don't have to mate to lay. When they are ready you will see .

I was unaware of that, my female russian didn't start laying until after my male mounted her and she hasn't laid an egg since they were separated, so I was just assuming based off that.
