Hhhm. Looks like it has serrated leaves like a Holly tree/bush. Does it ever flower or produce berries?

I’m guessing some type of ornamental holly.

I had a very large wax leaf privet in my Aldabran's yard. They didn't eat the bush, but they may have eaten some of the dead leaves on the ground. After a few years they experienced calcium deficiency. I attributed it to either eating too much clover or the privet. I removed the privet. (it's very high in oxalic acid)

The original pix the leaves are serrated, from the privet I am familiar
With , no serrated edges...

The pix of “privet” on the Tort Table shows it with flowers....
