This morning after eating I caught it mounting my other cherryhead that I always thought was male since it did have a little concaveness to the plastron and a less stubby tail but was less sure because this one is a little smaller at 4.5" in length. While the larger one that I thought was a female attempted to climb on top of the other one it made "clucking" noises. Is this mating behavior gender specific and does this mean that She is actually a He?
