What's an easy way to make a humid hide? And can I keep coco coir in it or should I buy sphagnum moss?
Thanks

Get a plastic shoe box. Cut out door hole. Put damp substrate in. Either of the two you mentioned will work fine. Bury the box into your substrate a bit. Done.

If your tortoise doesn't use it on its own, put him in there after lights out a few times.

I put this in for my baby leopard. He loves it! It's his favorite place to sleep. :)
