Hi,

I'm the newb of the day apparently.
I have a male sulcata. He is about 12 years old.
I've had him since he was newborn. In the past
I have a long history of herping. However I moved
to South Florida 6 years ago and prefer to observe
reptiles in the wild over captivity now. My tortoise
has a large yard and basically lives a natural life.

Hi! I agree nothing (well maybe other then watching your own hatchling as it struggles out of it's egg) can beat the simple wonder of watching herps or any wild animal in their natural habitat just being themselves. Nice to have you here.
