I've figured out a little recipe that closely resembles salad style.

1lb orchard grass hay
1lb Timothy hay
6oz alfalfa hay
1lb Bermuda grass hay

Take all the hay and use a pair of scissors to cut it into very fine pieces. Once all the hay is a very fine texture get out the good ole food processor and put it on high for 2-3 minutes. Once the hay is extremely fine out it in an air tight container seal it up and use it as a salad topper or soak in warm water for 30minutes and mix with greens.

The way I have been using it is soaking the hay with a couple mazuri pellets at the very end of the time that the hay needs to soak and serve on a leaf of whatever green you'd like. Another recommendation is gradually mixing it with greens until the baby is eating almost completely hay. This recipe has helped me wean the babies off of soaked hay to where they maybe get one green leafy veggie a day with tons of fresh grass and a pile of hay to snack on throughout the day. So much cheaper too!
