How to keep a Red foot or sulcata in the winter in New Jersey?

I want to get a red foot or sulcata, I live in NJ and would have to keep it out side I'm thinking my garage so when it snows there safe but how can I keep them warm like what should there enclosure look like?

You will need to make them a heated night box to sleep in and stay warmer then the rest of the garage. Then you should have added heat for the garage so they don't have to stay in the heated hide box 24/7. I think building them a shed, with insulated floor, sides and ceiling is better and will be less costly to heat. I'm in Chicago with leopards, same care as a sulcata and to me a garage is way too cold and costly because of the high ceilings.
You could always build an area about the size of a one car stall with insulated floor, sides and shorter i ceiling inside the garage. Basically a room or shed inside the garage.

This would only be for adults. Young ones and babies would get too cold in a garage.
