I have read varying information.

We have been feeding Calvin 2 times each day as much as he can eat in about 20 minutes...once in late morning and once in early evening. (he usually only eats one of these times...but when he does he CHOWS!)

We have been very lightly dusting the greens with calcium powder.

He is usually done eating within 10 minutes and won't eat it there is too much calcium on the greens...except today I noticed he will eat the dandylion greens even with more than a dusting...

We are also warm water soaking him every other day for about 10-15 minutes...

Looking for what is right/normally done.

Thank you so much!

I feed my adults once a day. Occasionally in the summer, when the days are long, I sometimes offer (bribe) them with a leaf or two of their favorite green to eat out of my hand. I dust their food 2 times a week with calcium and vitamins.

My hatchling I feed twice a day and dust its food lightly every other day. He/she has quiet a good appetite and eats at both feedings usually. I also weigh him/her weekly to keep a close eye that he isn’t gaining weight too fast.

How can you tell if they are getting too much or too little calcium?
Our guy is about (totally guessing here based on the growth chart for Greeks) 7 years old.

Will they eat themselves sick? Or are they pretty gppd moderators?

Our Beardie will eat himself sick but we never had that problem with our FTGecko or our corn snake...

I don't know about others but my two are usually pretty self regulated. But they are currently outside and get lots of excersize.
Now the calcium I don't know. I went with the directions on the bottle I bought and I'm hoping its right. But would love to hear from others to.
