Every year I have many many Rose of Sharon blossoms...
so many in fact, today I am going to cut off 6 big ROS freakin trees taller than my roof. When they are so high I can't get the blooms. I git a saw and have been going to town...I love this. I've never had a saw....

anyway, spring and summer Mary Knobbins eats so many ROS blooms that I am wondering if so many is bad? She mostly grazes and has hay the rest of the year. I offer her grape leaves but once she knows the ROS are blooming, she get so fussy...

because she is a great tort I do give into her...my other tortoises do not eat the blooms at all...
Ginger swims to the bottom of the pond and eats on slugs... this has nothing to do with ROS
