Wise county, myself, just west of Ft. Worth about 35-40 minutes.

I know we've at least 3 in or around Arlington...

Any in Denton, Dallas, or other northern parts of The Republic?

Hi Terry:

I just got back from spending 4 days in Forney, TX. And I can't say it loud enough: I'M SO GLAD TO BE HOME!!!!!!!

Every highway is under construction.

People drive like they are the only car on the road.

The traffic signals are mounted sideways.

The wind blew the whole time I was there and it was HOT!

I must admit, the Dallas downtown area is the prettiest down town I've ever seen. Some of the architecture was spectacular!

But you can keep it. Give me Clovis, CA anyday!

You were in the wrong part of the Republic...we only allow Dallas (think of it as a refuge/reservation for Yankees and other misfits) to hang out w/ us because nobody else will. :p

West Texas (Ft. Worth Is Where the West Begins) is so-o-o-o-o-o much nicer...like a whole 'nother country!

Thats funny, but you are correct, the people out here drive like the highway belongs to them. There are certain highways I avoid do to crazies and construction and we only go in the Dallas area if we have no choice.. It does take time to get use to it...
