How long was it before your Sulcata told you his/her name?

Lol I'm having that problem with my redfoot. My first 4 had predetermined ambiguous names, so it was easy. Perhaps my little one will speak soon. If so I'll let you know ;)

Ugh! It is driving me crazy! I cannot even get a "feel" as to if he is a boy or girl yet...lol In the first photo I had just gotten done asking him/her what his/her name was for the 15th time. He/she was VERY TIRED OF ME ASKING and gave me the MOST annoyed look ever!

(Sorry, slap happy with all of this - so happy he/she (??!!!) is here!)

Mine was brought into our hospital wounded...I took him under my care, and let him roam around the hospital at his will. He was very slow, deliberate...moved like he was in slow motion...so we called him "Schlo-Mo". Now he's just "Mo"

Hahaha I showed that picture to my husband earlier and said "LOOK! That baby tortoise is so angry/proud looking!" Maybe Napoleon would fit! :D

If you've got the time, pull out a baby name book! Since my sulcatas are all super Mario bad guy themed, I looked up the list of villain names. Kamek is probably my favorite name. (It is the name of the shape shifting wizard that made all those tortoise shells fall at you in the castle.) Her shell is very split, so it fit like a glove! That is such a funny little face he's making in the first photo. Reminds me of teens annoyed by their doting moms. :D

When your tortoise answers you, just shoot me a PM and I'll send over some "help" for you. :D

I always thought "Tiny" was a great name for a sulcata. Or maybe "Little John". Or "Levi", short for Leviathon...

Hey now! All my pets have told me their names. Unless that "help" is in the form of a huge margarita, I will just stick to my own little loopy world. :)
