How does my baby Sulcata look?

New owner with 0 experience, but lots of good knowledge thanks to @Tom and @Yvonne G and many others! What I'm asking is opinions from experienced caretakers/breeders on how my baby looks! This was taken the moment I received him.

Very cute, but he has some pyramiding. This can be stopped with proper care :)
Thanks for the heads up. The breeder I got them from started them off very dry with little hydration unfortunately. I assume that's what has caused most of it. I've been soaking him daily and will be for the next couple weeks.

I try not to be all negative Nelly all the time, but your baby looks dry, pyramided and thin. You already know it was start in a less than optimal way. In time, you can undo that damage and everything should be fine.

Continue daily soaks until the baby is well over 100 grams.
