I wouldn’t say these are Mazuri pellets but I bought them at petco for about $450 pesos and it’s grassland tortoise diet. I would’ve preferred to buy actual Mazuri but US won’t ship to Mexico and MX amazon sells a bag for about $200 dollars. I’m wondering how do I feed this to my baby RF? They are hard pellets and are not so big compared to Mazuri, like medium sized.
Do I just feed them to it to him straight out of the bag or do I soak them for a while? Today I tried soaking them but when I took them out they were soggy on the outside but the inside was still hard, should I soak them until it’s complete mush???

Get a regular pile of what you feed, then add your NICE SOGGY SOAKED pellets on top. Those pellets are extremely hard, but once softened up a bit, are nice n mushy,

I have had the best luck soaking extruded pellets like that by placing them in a bowl, covering with water so you have a half inch of water above the top of the pellets, then leaving it in the fridge overnight.
