Aldabraman, I think I see oval TuffStuff containers in a picture above. I don't trust those things at all. I have bought a ton of them to raise fish in and found they are made at least partly with recycled tires. I found several with screws or pieces of metal in the rubber. Worst of all, many of them killed the first few larval runs, it seems like something must leach out of them. They seem to be safe after a few weeks/months of soaking and flushing the water, I still have them in use today but would never buy another one.

~ we mainly use them to temporarily transport large tortoises.
