Is he all better now or do you still have to do some stuff on him? He sure looks good.
~ He needs management, probably for the rest of his life. He still gets blocked up and has difficulty thermal regulating properly!
Darn, I was hoping he would grow out of it. Well, glad he's in the right place for a good life.

Hopi had a great day today. We increased his nightly heat therapy and he had his monthly unplugging. He enjoys his daily showers, standing tall on all fours!

Tuff continues to thrive, however his bladder is starting to have issues again. If it gets any worse we will consult Dr. Mader for further options and treatment. He loves daily showers!

He is still so small. But alive and well so thats good . You guys are awesome people to care so much .
~ Thank you, he is very small compered to a healthy aldabra for his age. He is about 35 pounds, which is actually very heavy for his size. He has basically lost a good year of growth a few years ago when his condition first came apparent.

I just seen the part about Tuff on here and his bladder issues. How is that going? The monthly Hopie clean outs, can he poop on his own too, but just not getting all of it out?
~ I posted the Tuff post on accident, I intended for it to be on his thread!
~ Hopi does defecate on his own, however sometimes we need to intervene. Not every month, truly varies up to six months apart!
