Should my hide box have a bottom or be composed of the soil itself? Should it be elevated to avoid the perils of rain?

Should be bottomless to left them snuggle down into the dirt as far as they want. If you make sure and put it somewhere other than a low spot so that it won't flood it'll be just fine. But even then if it rains and starts to flood the tort will come running out and likely won't be at risk.chosen2030 said:
