Our 10 year old female Herman has woken up. She s been spoilt! She has a good quality wooden hut full of Fullers Earth and due to the warm weather has been heard scratching and baning around. She is checked weekly but is now sitting on top of the fullers earth 1/2 asleep. We are thinking of putting her back outside well covered until it gets colder but are not sure if she can be safely re- hibernated later! Thank you. Jon

Hi Jon:

Where are you located? If you put her back outside, will she be protected from the wet weather?

East Anglia UK. She s back outside now. Its 13c! In her favourite spot near a wall under thick bushes. We put her in her box at night if its proper cold and she wont drown but when(?)its frosty again can we let her hibernate again? She s quite fit and she was at the correct weight, no more , 8 weeks ago for hibernating. Hasn't eaten since. Thank you. Jon
