Hi, as I said above, my name is Rachel. My husband and I, along with our 5 kids, live in Virginia 
I currently have a 2 1/2yo leopard tortoise and a pair of Russians (8-10yo). I am also looking into getting box turtles again.
As a teenager, I kept box turtles. When I was in college I had RESs, and a Bell's Hinge-back tortoise. I had to find new homes for them when my husband and I got married and our apartment wouldn't allow pets of any sort.
I have missed having turtles/tortoises so much and have just recently acquired our newest members. I am loving every minute with them!!
I have really enjoyed reading many of the posts on here and appreciate the large number of members eager to help others and share their wisdom! I can't wait to get to know you all better!
