Hey from Duey and Tella. My 2 Russian male torts. I’ve had them about 7 years now. We live in South Louisiana so they live indoor but do like to sun bath. They are literally my favorite <3

Tella I’ve had since a yearling, and was born in captivity. Just my small guy. Then I rescued Duey months later. He’s my most friendly. I like to think he was captive bred.

Anyway just saying Hi

Hello and welcome! Why do you keep them indoors because you live in Louisiana? Isn't it nice outdoors there for them? Just curious.
I am from Jamaica in the Caribbean. Keep my redfoot outdoors most of the year as the weather suits them.

From what I’ve read, Russian tortoises do better with low humidity. In South Louisiana it’s always humid. Redfoots do great with the weather.
