They are actually my Dad's. Just found out has colon cancer. He mentioned that he would love to have a turtle ?to help him during treatments. So we got a boy and a girl hatchling. Having the hardest time getting their enclosure temp just right. They are Eastern Musk. Should I do mostly where with a basking area or mostly mulch with a swimming area?

Very sorry your dad is going through this.

You would not have so much trouble keeping the water parameters correct if you got a larger aquarium to keep them in.
