Hermann Humidity?

Hey, guys so i recently just built a tortoise table for my 9 month old hermann tortoise. Size of the table is 6 ft x 3ft.

Now I'm confused with the humidity levels for a hermann, i read some places say only a water dish will be enough humidity for them and then i read here that it should be around 50-60%

I live in canada so right now we are going through winter so its usually pretty dry here, my cage gets around 30% humidity.

Im not sure what else to do besides putting some spanghum moss in a couple hides or something.

If anyone could help me out that would be great.

I am having the same issue. What I have resorted to is putting aluminum foil on the basking side of the enclosure to keep humidity up. It keeps it between 40% and 50% all day with no misting. You can also try increasing the humidity of the room your table is in. Offering a humid hide is a good thing to do as well.

Does the foil go on the inside or outside of the table? Are you able to upload a photo? May try this as humidity for Charlie is not as high as I need and he looks very dry.

I put it on the outside. I didn't do a very good job at cutting it, but it still worked, surprisingly.
