Hello!

I know my torts are still young (three years old) but they already have such vast differences in almost every aspect that I wonder if anyone would have a go at sexing them now. I've put A for Archibald and V for Vishnu in the pics. V's shell colours are a fair bit bolder/more vibrant than A's, which I read is more likely the case for males?

Thanks all,
P

The tails of the two look virtually identical in the plastron photos, but I cannot tell you definitively what sex they are. It may still be too early to tell for sure. If I had to guess now, I would call both of them females because their tails both look pretty short and not very thick in those plastron pix.
