Hi everyone.

I Identified some plants and weeds using and app and then did some research and found them edible for my leopard tortoise.

However I would love some advice and input from people here in case I've messed up. (I got different answers as well to confuse me further) I've been feeding these to my baby for about a week now and he's been fine but I still wanna double check cause I'm paranoid like that.

I feed him hibiscus as well which I know I'm sure about so I'll not post that but for the rest I'll post some pics and the names I found for it. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

1. Lactuca serriola L. - Milk thistle. I tend to take as little of the yellow flowers and leaves as I can because this one was one of the confusing ones

2. Some kind of zinnia. Either Dahlia flowered zinnia, Mexican zinnia, Peruvian zinnia or Narrowleaf zinnia. It's another confusing one.

3. Britton's wild petunia or Minnieroot but most probably Brittons wild petunia.

4. Tridax procumbens - Now for this one the confusing part is some places said it shouldn't be fed to my leopard tort some said its fine. I've tried to add as many pictures including both of the leaves and flowers. Sorry they are many incase its not visible.

5. A kind of amaranth- This one I haven't fed my baby but saw it and was wondering if it can be fed to him.

I don't know any of these. You might have to enlist the help of a local garden center. They usually have someone there that can ID all the local plants.
