He doesn't have any discharge or bubbles or any wheezing sounds does this still sound like a respiratory infection ?
Because your tort is poorly, it needs to be higher than normal. Normal is about 82f to 85f. So I would go for 90f 1st. I'm hoping someone is going to chime in and agree or disagree with that temp. What would be a good temperature to keep it at?
If it is, its the early stages of it. Get him warm and give him vitamin soaks. He should improve. Does he seem lethargic. Is he feeding or pooping. He doesn't have any discharge or bubbles or any wheezing sounds does this still sound like a respiratory infection ?
What temp have you got In your tank.He does seem lethargic but today he has become much more active and he ate a little piece of cucumber from my hand. He has not pooped in two days but yesterday he peed
Upstate ny88-90 is a good temp. What state are you located in?
Yes I've been soaking him multiple times today. I've been feeding him romaine, cucumber, and red cabbage. He would only eat the cucumber. I'm going to wegmans soon and I'm going to get either dandelion greens because he likes them or escarole and some fruit. His tank is 89 degrees.Your getting good advice. My little Sheldon's temps are in the low 80's during the day. So if your baby is sick
a bit higher is good.
Have you been soaking him any ?
What have you been feeding him beside cucumber ?
Escarole is a form of endive, and can also be known as broad chicory or common chicory. Its flavour is slightly bitter, but more gentle than other varieties of endive. Its crinkled leaves make it an interesting addition to your dishes. What is escarole? Is there a uk name for this. @Will mentioned this the other day. I've googled it and all I can find is that it's a member of the kale family.
PhotoHe seems to be getting better. He walked around and ate a little.

Thanks Will. I'm going to have to find some over here.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endive Escarole is a certain leaf type of endive, it is not a kale.
My first awareness of Escarole was some soup at a potluck. It tasted good, I inquired and so escarole was thereafter found in many grocery stores. I did not do well making my own soup, but quickly found the tortoises liked it, and subsequently found it's nutritious. Thanks Will. I'm going to have to find some over here.
