Buy some floating plastic plants that have lots of leaves, branches, so the babies have places to hide. If the mother can find the babies, she'll eat them. You can prepare a smaller tank to net out the babies and keep them safe that way too.

I agree get mom and baby's apart and put some salt with the baby's ( but NOT table salt ) and feed the baby's fresh Brain shrimp, not frozen .
