That's great news. Congrats on a job well done. Hopefully he'll recover quickly and fully. Keep up the good work. Post pics when he's feeling much better:)

How is he doing now has he been able to open his other eye? Wishing your turtle a speedy recovery!:tort:

He is still recovering. One eye looks pretty good. The other eye still looks pretty bad. I have him inside full time and he is pissed, but I don't want him digging down in the dirt and getting it infected.

Aw, poor little tort guy for not being outside, but he will get over it and be a happy and healthy when he recuperates.

You are doing the right thing to keep him inside away from constant temperature changes, germs from dirt and other stuff. Turtles immune systems can be compromised by stress and injury and should not be taken lightly.

Speedy recovery Mr. Tort! :tort:
