Hey i am excited to say i am. New member to this community. I have a 1 week old Baby Sulcata and i was wondering which bedding is the best to put from these 4 choices :
1. Forest Floor Bedding
2.Premium Repti Bark
3. Aspen Wood Bedding for small animals
4. Red Aspen Accents Natural Substrate for Snakes and Reptiles

If you have experience with any on these for a sulcata or know which is better for a sulcata out of these 4 .. PLEASE Tell me

Welcome. It depends on species. Aspen can be used for drier required species like stars, or Chaco tortoises. Forest floor is just cypress mulch, reptibark is just hardwood chunks. Coco coir is about as good as you will get to accommodate any young tortoise species. Or peat moss.

Coco coir would be best then. You can mix the mulch with coco coir too if you'd like, buy the coir at your pet place but don't buy any of the others there. You can get a bag of cypress mulch at Home Depot for a couple bucks, it's the exact same as forest floor, just in a different bag.

Search under sulcata forums and you will find plethora of information and care sheet there for yah. Toms care sheet is great.

I'd recommend you use coco coir aka Bed-A-Beast.
2nd choice would be the cypress mulch aka Forest Floor

Are you sure it's 1 week old? I've known week old hatchlings to still be absorbing the yolk sac.
